Now that we’ve found an apartment, it’s exciting to say that this is our street!  It’s not in the middle of the old town, but just on the edge.  And it’s a pedestrian area (or at least “traffico limitato – pretty much just drop off only).  On Mondays it’s abuzz with the weekly market, and our apartment looks right down over the market (I’ll post more about that after Monday).

Many of Joe’s memories of coming to BorgoTaro as a youth include this viale.  His Grandfather’s house was just up the hill from here.  He spent many days in the park across the street.  I think this will be an exciting and yet quiet place to live!
