Six years ago I started this blog. At that time, I didn’t know much Italian. Certainly I couldn’t write well in Italian. You might assert that I still don’t know enough to write in Italian today 🙂 – but I’ve improved a lot in these six years, and I need to try harder! So, today I made some modifications to this site so that I can write in both English and Italian.

If you choose English 🇺🇸 in the menu above, you can see all of the posts available in English. If you choose Italiano 🇮🇹, you will see those available in Italian.

The most important thing for me is to first write in Italian, and then in English. If I write in English and then in Italian, I try to translate rather than just communicate. I know how to express myself in English! I can rewrite everything from Italian to English without actually translating. But if I write first in English, it is difficult to write it all again in Italian without trying to translate. So, I must start in Italian and then rewrite it all in English.

We will see if if I’m able to continue with this project on a routine basis. But is is truly an important goal for me!
