Two front row tickets to caller 11

Okay – so it really wasn’t quite like that!  But last night we spent an evening in the front row at Teatro del Giglio in Lucca, courtesy of the Graham Nash Facebook team!  I was the lucky recipient of Facebook location stalking!  Yep.  I like the Graham Nash Facebook Page, and there I was, minding my own business, when a post popped up that essentially said, if you are near Lucca and can be at a concert on Thursday, like this post, tell us your favorite LP cover that is from any Graham Nash endeavor, why it’s our favorite and a lucky winner will be the recipient of two front row tickets for the concert.  I chose “For Certain Because . . .” – we’ll, because the beret of course!

And I won.  Of course, we’re in Italy, the message was in English, and I was one of the few folks who actually followed the directions.  Maybe that was a help!

We were so close that it was like having him in our living room!  It was a two man show, with Nash and Shane Fontayne in a very intimate and moving concert.

 

We’d do it again.  Even if the logistics were a little rough.  I’ll post more about that tomorrow 🙂
