Home, Sweet Home!

Our travels were uneventful.  We flew from Minneapolis to Washington DC, then to Dublin, then to Milano Linate.  Luggage all arrived in one piece (although the duffle bag will need a bit of repair), and the car rental pick up was a breeze.  We got a car for just a few days so that we would not need to deal with all of our luggage on the train, and we’ll take it back to Linate on the weekend and spend the day in Milano.

We left here just as summer was starting to really heat up, and we’re back as the trees begin to shed their leaves.  This will be our first Autumn/Early Winter in Borgo Val di Taro.  Looking forward to seeing the town in a new light!

Oh – by the time I had finished writing this post, the leaves have been removed!  Very neat and tidy town.
